Why did I choose to become a teacher? (5/20/08)

My lifelong dream has always been to become a teacher.  A teacher must love children.  A teacher must love their job.  A teacher must have a passion to help students learn, a love for continual educational growth, and an enthusiasm for educating others.  I believe that “Good teachers are born, not made.”  With the qualities above, the experiences I have already gained, and the training I will receive, I will one day be a “Excellent Teacher”.
